Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 9 am–8 pm. Sterling Heights is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Sterling Heights follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My family visits this market regularly, and overall we've always had a positive experience. The desserts are excellent, the produce is fresh, and the selection throughout the store is impressive. One of our favorites is the caramel tres leches cake, which has never disappointed. Unfortunately, the customer service from one employee consistently has. The older woman behind the dessert counter has been rude, dismissive, and unprofessional every time my family or I have interacted with her. This wasn't an isolated incident it has happened repeatedly. On my most recent visit, I patiently waited to be helped, understanding that the staff was busy. When she came over, I politely asked for a medium caramel tres leches cake. Instead of asking for clarification professionally, she stared at me with obvious irritation and abruptly asked, "Which one?" I calmly repeated my order, but she continued responding with an attitude until she finally said, "Chocolate or caramel?" Had she simply asked that question politely from the beginning, there would have been no issue. Instead, the interaction felt unnecessarily hostile and uncomfortable. As someone who owns a business, I understand that everyone

I will never shop here ever again one of the cashiers was so rude and The manager was one of the main reasons my experience was so disappointing. She was rude, disrespectful, and had a very unpleasant attitude while speaking with me. Instead of listening to my concerns and trying to help, she was dismissive and made the situation feel worse. A manager should represent the store professionally and treat customers with respect, but unfortunately that was not my experience. All the fruits and vegetables were all gone bad i had to put the strawberries back immediately after picking them up. This happened to me in the beginning of the week it ruined my whole week.

I don’t usually write reviews like this but today’s experience was horrible. I witnessed a worker named Sue get yelled, cussed at, and embarrassed by a staff member. It was super disrespectful. She is a grown woman and no one deserves to be treated like that. DO BETTER!!

My husband and I live in the area and sometime we go to this market for convenience. My husband experienced the worst customer service. He goes in and gets to the cash register and the cashier doesn’t say hello. Looks at him like she’s scared of him or something. Like ma’am! Black people shouldn’t have to put up with this weird energy whenever they decide to wander into your store. I’ve met the owner…he’s such a nice man. I don’t know if he knows that his cashiers are so rude.

Honestly the employees are so friendly and do the best to satisfy your requests. I am glad they enlarged the parking lot providing more space. Inside offers many different options. Produce is always fresh and full. The deli area offers a few grab and go options the spinach triangles are the best. I don't eat the pastries but they offer a vast selection of sweets. They are always busy but the flow is quick. Only thing that is unnerving are some of the customers who are all about their needs and don't budge. They are a great local place to shop for all your needs without the convenience store prices. A true gem in the neighborhood. Enjoy shopping. So friendly!
